large oxidised silver and 9ct gold pebble pendant, unisex recycled silver necklace

Sorry, this item has sold.

This oxidised pebble pendant was formed by melting together scraps and offcuts of silver. In the process, an indentation formed on the surface, and a small ball of recycled 9ct gold has been added to this hollow. It carries a full UK hallmark.

The piece was oxidised, then the surface was polished to a bright shine, leaving the dark oxidisation in the pits and hollows. This emphasises the texture of the pendant, and gives it a lovely natural patina. It also allows the polished ball of gold to really sing.

I have added a bail to the top of the pendant, which has an inner diameter of 0.5cm, allowing you to hang it from a chain or thong of your choice. Alternatively, it can be supplied with a fine silver belcher chain in a choice of lengths, as shown in the second picture. This fastens with a handmade clasp.

This is a lovely chunky, organic piece of jewellery, inspired by beach pebbles and hag stones. It is a genuine one-off, as the results of the process used to create it can never be exactly replicated.

Your pendant will arrive in a gift box made from recycled card, and tied with a ribbon. Gift wrapping is available on request.

This item has been hallmarked by the Edinburgh Assay Office, which is your guarantee that it has been made from genuine sterling silver and 9ct gold.

    a) Etsy. I share information with Etsy as necessary to provide you with my services and comply with my obligations under both the Etsy Seller Policy and Etsy Terms of Use.

    b) Service providers. I engage certain trusted third parties to perform functions and provide services to my shop, such as delivery companies. I will share your personal information with these third parties, but only to the extent necessary to perform these services. Specifically, I share your name and delivery address with Royal Mail in order to facilitate delivery of your order. You can refer to their privacy policy here:

HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) require that I retain data relating to my business for seven years.

    5. Transfers of Personal Information Outside the EU

I may store and process your information through third-party hosting services in the US and other jurisdictions. As a result, I may transfer your personal information to a jurisdiction with different data protection and government surveillance laws than your jurisdiction. Frequently Asked Questions

    Dispatch Times

I currently dispatch orders within 3-5 working days, in order to minimise my visits to the Post Office. Some made to order items take slightly longer, and dispatch within 1-2 weeks.

I sometime have to vary these times during busy periods, so please be sure to check carefully when you order, especially if you need your item by a set date.

    Issues with your order

Please contact me as soon as possible via Etsy conversations if you have any issues or concerns with your order. I'll always do my best to sort things out for you.

    Gift wrapping and packaging

Unless otherwise stated, all items are wrapped in tissue paper and packaged in small jewellery boxes made from recycled card, tied with a ribbon.

I am happy to gift wrap your purchase, for a small charge. If your gift is dispatched direct to the recipient, I can add a gift tag with a personal note from you.

    Shipping address

Please be aware that I take your shipping address directly from Etsy, so be sure to check that the address you provide is correct before placing your order. I'm afraid I cannot be responsible for packages which go missing where an incorrect or invalid address has been provided.

    Sizing details

I do my best to ensure that you are able to get a good idea of the size of my pieces, by providing measurements in the item description, and a photograph which includes other items for scale.

If you are in any doubt at all, please get in touch with me before ordering, and I can provide further details and/or photographs.

If you receive an item, and you have totally misjudged the size, I am happy to refund or exchange, subject to the terms and conditions set out under my shop policies.

    Shipping

The majority of my orders are dispatched using tracked and signed for shipping services. This means that you can follow the progress of your order once it has been dispatched. Within the UK, your order should arrive the day after it ships.

There are some exceptions, which are sent using First Class Signed For. These will take a little longer to arrive. This will be made clear within the individual listing, and you will be offered the opportunity to purchase a shipping upgrade.

I'm afraid that once an item is dispatched, the delivery time is out of my hands. The times stated are an average, based on experience, but they are not a guarantee. Delivery make take longer depending on customs, local postal services, and the time of year.
