May has been a busy month, even though we enjoyed a lovely holiday on the Scottish coast in Fife. I also managed some long walks in the hills locally. As you can see from the pictures, it was  a dry and sunny month, even if the temperatures didn't live up to appearances. The winds were very chilly.

I found some promising pieces of sea pottery on the beaches of Fife. I haven't had a chance to create any jewellery with them yet, so I thought this month I'd showcase some of the sea pottery designs currently available in my shop

Going on holiday brings the opportunity to explore new places, and I found some really delightful little cafés and coffee shops. Together with our regular haunts at home, it's been a great month for sampling coffee and cake.

May has seen the garden and hedgerow flowers burst into bloom. The hawthorn has been particularly spectacular this year, but we've also enjoyed wild garlic, late narcissus, early roses, and sea thrift.

June also looks set to be fairly full on, so I'll be fitting in working on designs as and when I can.
